(a) No, sir.
(b) State-wise, year-wise release of fund to the State Governments for Construction of Women Hostels and Community Development through Polytechnics (CDTP) during the last three years is Annexed herewith. No grant has been released during the current year.
(c) Women hostels are under various stages of construction and under the scheme of CDTP, short-term training programmes have been carried out for women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, minorities, school-drop-outs and other disadvantaged sections of society.
