(a) whether the Union Government has received a proposal from the State
Government of Madhya Pradesh for sanctioning of 88.54 lakh for
development of aquaculture in potable water (Fishery Development
Agency);
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which the amount is likely to be sanctioned and released?

(a) to (c): A proposal for release of 177.54 lakh for development of freshwater
aquaculture has been received from the Government of Madhya Pradesh for 2011-12
under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme `Development of Inland Fisheries and
Aquaculture`. An amount of 89 lakh has been released as first installment.
