(a) whether there are certain guidelines for Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs);
(b) if so, whether any PSU has ignored any guidelines of the Government;
(c) if so, the details thereof for the last three years;
(d) the details of CMDs against whom the action has been taken in this regard alongwith
number of IAS officers out of these; and
(e) the nature of action taken?

(a) to (e): Guidelines on matters relating to drafting the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
to be signed between Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and their administrative
Ministries / departments every year, Corporate Governance, Composition of Board of Directors,
Performance Appraisal, Appointment of Directors in CPSEs, Wage Settlement etc. have been
issued by the Department of Public Enterprises. The implementation of these guidelines and
action against defaulters, if any, in the CPSEs is the responsibility of the concerned
administrative Ministries/Departments.
