(a) whether the Government has recently commissioned ocean going sailboat INSV Tarini;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the sailboat has Raymarine navigation suite and an array of satellite communication system on board through which contact can be made from anywhere; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): Indian Navy has inducted Indian Naval Sail Training Vessel Tarini, from M/s Aquarius Shipyard Pvt. Ltd, Goa on 18.02.2017. The sailboat has a Raymarine Navigation Suite. The sailboat also has satellite communication systems namely Fleet Broadband 250 Communication Set and Indian Maritime Satellite (INMARSAT) ‘C’ Terminal through which contact can be made from anywhere.
