Question : Schemes for North Eastern States

(a) the schemes being implemented by the Government in North-Eastern States including the States of Assam and Haryana and other States at present;

(b) whether any proposal from the said States in this regard is currently pending with the Central Government; and

(c) if so, the details thereof?

THE MINISTER FOR FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING

(a) The Government is implementing various schemes to enhance production and productivity of bovines & small ruminants (sheep & goat), piggery & poultry across the country including North-Eastern States including the States of Assam and Haryana and other States at present namely:

i. Rashtriya Gokul Mission(RGM)
ii. National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD)
iii. Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund(DIDF)
iv. Supporting Dairy Cooperatives and Farmer Producer Organizations engaged in dairy activities (SDC&FPO)
v. National Livestock Mission(NLM)
vi. Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund(AHIDF)
vii. Livestock Health & Disease Control(LH&DC)
viii. National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP)
ix. Livestock Census and Integrated Sample Survey (LC&ISS)

(b) and (c) No proposals from the said States are currently pending with the Central Government under above schemes.
