(a) No, Madam.
(b) Does not arise.
(c) & (d): Representations from various quarters have been received from time to time for
setting up of benches of High Courts at different places. However, setting up of benches of
High Courts away from their principal seats is considered on receipt of a complete proposal
from the State Government which has the consent of the Chief Justice of the concerned High
Court.No such proposal has been received by the Central Government.
