(a) the details of temporary or ad-hoc teachers in various Central Universities in the country, University- wise;
(b) whether the Government is considering for regularization of serving temporary or ad-hoc teachers on a permanent basis through one-time absorption recruitment process therefor;
(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by when the Government is going to regularize these teachers; and
(d) if not, the reason therefor?

(a): The University-wise details of faculty employed in Central Universities on ad-hoc basis, guest faculty, contract basis and on re-employed in the country as on 01.04.2022 are annexed.
(b) to (d): No proposal is under consideration in University Grants Commission (UGC) to absorb the ad-hoc teachers as permanent teacher. However, Ministry of Education and UGC from time to time has requested all the Central Universities to fill up the posts on regular basis.
