Question : NATIONAL HIGHWAYS IN CHHATTISGARH



(a) the details of the districts in Chhattisgarh State which are not connected by National Highways (NHs);

(b) whether the Government proposes to link all the districts of the State with NHs;

(c) if so, the details thereof and the time-frame fixed in this regard; and

(d) the total length of NH roads passing through the Chhattisgarh State along with the NH roads which are proposed to be constructed in the State during the next three years?

(a) Narayanpur and Gariyaband districts are not connected by National Highways in Chhattisgarh State.

(b)&(c) No proposal has been firmed up to connect all the districts with National Highways.

(d) Total length of the NHs in Chhattisgarh is 2336 km. Construction and development of National Highways is a continuous process and works are taken up depending upon inter-se priority and availability of fund.
