ENGAGING CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS IN SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAAN
1272. SHRIMATI ARPITA GHOSH:
Will the MINISTER OF CULTURE be pleased to state


(a) whether the Government has made some changes in the clause of production grant and repertory grant which will affect the cultural groups as a whole in the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;


(c) whether it is included in the clauses that all cultural organisations has to take initiatives in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and have to collect certificate for the same from the different Government institutions; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Yes Madam. On the recommendation of the Expert Committee, some changes have been made in the guidelines of Production Grant Scheme and Repertory Grant Scheme. The changes inter-alia pertain to the selection process.



(c) & (d) Yes Madam. Ministry of Culture has taken up an initiative to propogate and disseminate the idea of “Swachh Bharat” through the events and programmes of grantee organisation/individuals.
