(a) whether most of the Board members of Airport Authority of India are serving on extension basis;
(b) if so, details of such Directors/Board members;
(c) the reasons for not initiating any action for inducting full time Chairman and members of the Board of Airport Authority of India; and
(d) the action being taken in this regard?

(a), (b), (c) and (d): - The Airports Authority of India has regular and full-time incumbents on the posts of Member [Personnel and Administration], Member [Finance] and Member [Planning]. The post of Member [Operation] is vacant and a panel of candidates has been selected. On completion of the formalities, the post is likely to be filled soon. The selection process for the post of Chairman, Airports Authority of India has been kept on hold as the matter is sub-judice in the High Court of Delhi. However, routine duties and responsibilities of the Chairman have been given to Member [Personnel and Administration] from time to time.
