(a) Whether there has been no increase in the scholarship amount provided to the students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (STs) for the last three years;
(b) If so, the reasons therefor and the details of present rate of scholarship to the students of STs;
(c) Whether the Government has any proposal to increase the amount of the said scholarship amount; and
(d) If so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a)&(b): Scholarship amount has been revised in the following schemes being implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs:
Pre Matric Scholarship with effect from 01.07.2012 National Overseas Scholarship with effect from 27.11.2013

(b)&(d): No, Madam. Currently, there is no proposal to increase the scholarship amount.
