(a) to d): According to the information furnished by the University of Delhi, a Committee constituted by the University for Ehe purpose has recommended procedural guidelines tor grant of affiliation to the colleges`institutions under the relevant provisions of the Act Statutes and the Ordinances of the University. The Committee lias also recommended levy of one-time recognition tee and the annual affiliation fee from the institutions seeking affiliation to the University ranging from Rs.1.00 lakh to Rs.1O.OO lakh depending upon the level of courses to be offered by such institutions-The recommendations of she Committee have, however, not yet been accepted by the competent authorities of the University.

(e): In view of the enormous size of the University and the need to maintain standards o£ college education, the affiliation by the University of Delhi is granted very sparingly. During the last three years, only two institutions have been granted affiliation and it is not possible to indicate the number of colleges likely to be granted affiliation during the current Year.
