(a) the quantum of funds utilised by the States during the financial years 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 under PMAY-U, State-wise; and
(b) the amount released as on 31st August, 2020, State-wise, and the physical targets set for each State for the financial year 2020-21?
(a) State/UT-wise details of funds (Central Assistance) utilised under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) [PMAY(U)] during 2016-17,2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 are at Annexure-I.
(b) State/UT-wise details of amount (Central Assistance) released as on 31 August 2020 under PMAY(U) are at Annexure-II. There is no State-wise physical target set for the year 2020-21. However, a tentative target for sanctioning of 14.32 lakh houses in States/UTs for the year 2020-21 has been fixed out of which 12.32 lakh houses have already been sanctioned details of which are also given at Annexure-II.
