(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The students of educational institutions recognised by
the Ministry of Education, Government of India or the
Education Departments of the concerned State Governments and
students of colleges affiliated to recognised Universities
are granted 50% concession in Second & Sleeper class
Mail/Express fares for visiting home-town during vacations
and for travel on Educational tours. However, scheduled
caste and scheduled tribe students are granted another 50%
concession over and above the normal studentsâ concession,
i.e. 75% concession in effect.
(c): The approximate number of students who availed
concession on computerised tickets issued from Passenger
Reservation System during the last three years is as under:
