Question : NON AVAILABILITY OF FLIGHTS BETWEEN MUMBAI CALICUT



(a) whether the Government are aware of the difficulties being faced by the Air passengers due to non-availability of flight in the Mumbai-Calicut sector in the evening;

(b) if so, the time by which more flights are likely to be introduced particularly in the evening time; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) At present, only Indian Airlines and Jet Airways are operating scheduled flights on Mumbai-Calicut sector with the following departure time ex-Mumbai:-

(b) and (c): Time slots for operation of all flights are decided by the airlines themselves on the basis of commercial inputs and operational feasibility.
