Question : IDOLS STOLEN FROM JAIN TEMPLE IN WEST BENGAL

(a) whether Jain idols have been stolen from Jain Temples having historical and archaeological importance in Purulia Parliamentary Constituency of West Bengal;

(b) if so, the details in this regard during the last three years;

(c) the action taken by the Government thereon alongwith outcome thereof; and

(d) the steps taken by the Government for adequate safety of the idols in these temples?

(a)to(d) As per the information furnished by the State Government authorities no incidence of theft of Jain idols has taken place within the Purulia Parliamentary Constituency during the last three years.
