(a) the details of the parameters and rules fixed by the Government to procure mung, groundnut, gram, mustard, etc. from farmers at minimum support price;
(b) whether it is a fact that the Government has fixed procurement limit at minimum support price; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the details of powers assigned by the Government of the States concerned?

(a): Mung, groundnut, gram, mustard etc. notified pulses and oilseeds of Fair Average Quality (FAQ) are procured from farmers at Minimum Support Price (MSP) in consultation with the concerned State Governments/Union Territories under Price Support System (PSS) as per its prescribed guidelines.
(b) & (c): No procurement limit has been fixed under PSS. Central Government procures 25% of the actual production of the commodity for that particular season and beyond this, State Government may procure the same at its own cost.
