Question : Science Centres

(a) whether the Government has taken a decision to set up science centres and regional centres for promoting research across the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether a number of States have requested the Union Government to promote research and development works; and

(d) if so, the details of the steps taken by the Government in this regard till date?
