Question : Resettlement of Slum Dwellers

(a) whether the Government has any proposal to allot a large number of vacant Rajiv Awas Yojana flats to the slum dwellers who are on the verge of eviction as per Supreme Court order to clean railway tracks at National Capital;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) whether the Government has identified any other dwelling units for the slum dwellers presently residing along the railway tracks of Delhi and if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): No, Sir. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has not approved any projects in Delhi under Rajiv Awas Yojana.

(c): Ministry of Railways has to identify suitable plan for relocation.
