Question : ROADS CONVERT INTO NHS IN JHARKHAND



(a) the number of roads announced to be developed as National Highways(NHs) in Jharkhand during the last three years;

(b) the names and length of these highways;

(c) the works and the distance upto which works have been completed on the above-said highways;

(d) whether the said works are being executed in a planned manner; and

(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS ( SHRI PON. RADHAKRISHNAN )

(a) to (e) Ten National Highways namely 114A,133,220,333,343,43,133A, 143A,333A & 419 covering 781.00Km have been notified as new NHs during the last three years. Development of NHs is a continuous process and works are taken up in phases depending upon the availability of resources and inter-se-priority.
