(a) the total number of houses targeted to be constructed under Pradhan Mantri AwasYojana - Urban (PMAY-U) under ‘Housing for all’ by the year 2022;
(b) the number of houses constructed so far and the number of houses that are yet to be constructed as per the target in Karnataka State;
(c) the details of financial assistance provided under PMAY- U at present; and
(d) whether the Government proposes to increase the same and if so, the details thereof?

(a): Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs is implementing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) since 25.06.2015 for giving Central assistance to States/Union Territories (UTs) for providing all weather pucca houses to all eligible urban beneficiaries. Government of India has not fixed any target for construction of houses in a State/ UT under PMAY-U. States/Uts have undertaken a demand survey under the scheme for assessing actual demand of houses.
Against validated demand of 112.24 lakh houses, 1,14,02,341 houses have been sanctioned so far under PMAY-U. Of the sanctioned houses, 92,37,907 houses have been grounded for construction of which 54,39,898 houses have been completed/delivered. All States/UTs have been advised to complete all the sanctioned projects/ houses within the stipulated timeline.
(b): Under PMAY-U, 6,93,531 houses have been sanctioned in the State of Karnatakaso far. Of the sanctioned houses, 5,47,375 houses have been grounded for construction; of which 2,64,926 houseshave been completed/delivered and remaining 1,46,156 houses are yet to be grounded.
(c) & (d):Central assistance provided under different verticals of PMAY-U is as under:
