(a) whether the district magistrates are observing transparancy in the selection of the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to run the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya; and
(b) if not, the norms prescribed by the Government for the monitoring of the same?

(a) & (b): The Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya scheme
encourages involvement of Non-Government Organisations,
including not for profit organizations, in the management of
KGBV schools.
The Scheme is being implemented by the State Governments
through the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) State Implementation
Society.
