(a) whether the Government proposes to set up regional offices of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) across the country with a view to avoid delay in cons- truction of roads;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State/project-wise; and
(c) the time by which these offices are likely to be set up?

(a) to (c) In order to speed up the implementation of pro- jects and closer liaison with the State Governments 19 Regional Offices have been set up by National Highways Authority of India(NHAI) in the country. Details are as under:-
