Will the Minister of CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION be pleased to state the time by which the Government is likely to release the central share funds to Rajasthan under National Food Security Act (NFSA) along with the details thereof?

Based on examination of proposal received from the Government of Rajasthan, an amount of Rs.343.38 crore has been released to the State Government as Central assistance for meeting expenditure on intra-State movement & handling of foodgrains and fair price shop dealers’ margin, for the period upto September, 2016. On subsequent proposals, certain clarifications have been sought from the State Government.
