Question : APPOINTMENT OF NURSERY TEACHERS

(a) whether NDMC has any provision to appoint Nursery Teachers on ad hoc basis;

(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith number of teachers presently working on ad hoc basis;

(c) whether the candidates recommended by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board in pursuance of High Court order for appointment as Nursery Teachers in NDMC schools have since been given an offer of appointment;

(d) if so, the details thereof, category wise; and

(e) if not, the time by which all the selected candidates will be given appointments?

(b): Does not arise.

(c) to (e): Presently, there are 24 surplus Nursery Teachers in New Delhi Municipal Council because of reduction in enrolment. It has, therefore, not been possible for New Delhi Municipal Council to offer appointment to the candidates recommended by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board.
