(a)whether it is true that the ESI Hospital at Joda in Odisha is non-functional.
(b)if so, the details thereof;
(c)the sanctioned strength of doctors and nursing staff and current strength of the same; and
(d)whether there is any hope of revival of the hospital or the Government has made plan to permanently shut the hospital?

(a) & (b): There is no ESI Hospital functioning at Joda, Odisha at present. However, there is a full-fledged Hospital functioning at Joda, Odisha under Labour Welfare Organization (LWO), Bhubaneswar, Ministry of Labour and Employment.
(c): The sanctioned strength of the Medical Officers and Nursing Officers at Central Hospital at Joda, Odisha is 06 and 13 respectively. At present, there are 03 Medical Officers and 06 Nursing Officers/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) posted at Hospital, LWO at Joda, Odisha.
(d): There is no plan/proposal of the Government to permanently shut the Hospital at Joda, Odisha.
