be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government is aware that unethical practices are followed in poultry farming in the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether it is a fact that consumption of genetically modified chickens is causing diseases among human beings; and

(d) if so, the corrective action taken by the Government thereon?

(a) No, Madam. No reports have been received from State Governments on any unethical practices followed in poultry farming in the country.

(b) Question does not arise.

(c) No risk assessment or documented report is available for genetically modified chickens causing diseases among human beings.
