Question : Under Construction Bridges

(a) whether the Government has asked the National Highways Authority of India to submit a status report on all under construction bridges in the country and ensure that safety measures are in place for all national highway projects;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether NHAI has issued instructions to all their project directors and regional officers to be vigilant about ensuring safety measures; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) Yes Madam.National Highways Authority of India has been advised to review all the ongoing projects to ensure highest safety measures and quality of construction.

(c) & (d) Yes madam. NHAI has issued instructions to all their Project Directors and Regional Officers to ensure highest safety measures and quality of construction.
