to the reply given to Unstarred Question No.6 dated March 1, 2005 and state:
(a) the details of drains under encroachments/silted indicating type of encroachments, location-wise;
(b) the steps taken by the respective Gram Sabhas to remove those encroachments;
(c) the details of legal action taken, if any, by the Gram Sabha against these encroachers; and
(d) the time by which these encroachments are likely to be removed?

(a): A list of drains and type of encroachement, received from
Divisional Commissioner, Government of NCT of Delhi, is given at
Annexure-I.
(b): It has been informed that action for demarcation of the
encroached land has been started as a precursor to removal of
encroachment.
(c): It has been reported that proceedings under Section 86A of
Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 have been initiated against some
encroachments in village Rajokri and Rangpuri as per
Annexure-II.
(d): In view of reply to part (b) &(c) above, it is pre-mature
to indicate a specific time frame for removal of encroachments.
