(a) Whether it is fact that the Government has initiated any specific programme to help small and marginal farmers in the country including district Gopalganj of Bihar;
(b) If so, the number of such farmers covered under such schemes in the last two years, State and year-wise; and
(c) The details of measures taken to mitigate the sufferings of small and marginal farmers in the country including Gopalganj district of Bihar?

(a) Most Schemes ie Central Sector and Centrally Sponsored, of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW) are for the benefit of small and marginal farmers in the country, including district Gopalganj of Bihar.
(b) Beneficiaries of these schemes, specially Centrally Sponsored Schemes, are decided/ selected by the respective State Governments and therefore details are available with them. However, Data on central sector schemes like PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PM-KMY) and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) are given in the Annexure I.
(c) Allocation and release in respect of major Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the country including for the State of Bihar is attached as Annexure II
