(a) to (c) There are 51806 inhabited villages in Madhya
Pradesh. All the villages are being provided postal facilities
through a network of 334 Sub Post Offices, 50 Extra Departmental
Sub Post Offices and 7089 Extra Departmental Branch Post Offices.
District wise information regarding villages with Post Offices
and without Post Offices as on 31.3.05 is given in the Annexure.
The expenditure incurred on the said service during the last
two years is as under:
