(a) whether the Government has any proposal to set up a Commission on the lines of Kothari Commission on Education to suggest reforms in education and curriculum;
(b) if so, the details along with the terms of reference thereof; and
(c) the time by which the said Commission is likely to be set up?

(a) to (c): No such proposal is under consideration of the Government. However, the Government proposes to formulate a New Education Policy aimed at meeting the existing and emerging challenges, in consultation with all the stakeholders.
