Question : SUPPLY OF ULSD BY PETROL PUMPS IN DELHI

(a) the names and location of petrol pumps in New Delhi not supplying Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel inspite of obtaining the necessary storage licence etc,;

(b) whether the dealership agreements of such pumps permits the additional HSD facility on their pumps;

(c) whether the Government have still restrained the oil corporations to add HSD facility on these MS retail outlets; and

(d) if so, the time by which the Oil Corporations shall be directed to provide ULSD on all such sites to avoid dead mileage of the motorist?

(a) : There is only one retail outlet of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited i.e. M/s. Navyug Service Station at New Delhi where HSD facilities could not be added inspite of obtaining the necessary storage licence since the oil industry was restrained by Government from adding HSD facility to lone MS outlets.

(b) : Yes, Sir.

(c) & (d): There are a number of lone MS and 2/3 wheeler retail outlets in the country where only petrol is supplied. Oil Industry`s proposal for permission for addition of HSD to such outlets is under consideration of the Government.
