(a)to(c) Under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I approved by Government of India, connectivity from Bengaluru to Mysuru has been envisaged for development as Economic Corridor. The work for 6-lane of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch has already been awarded in two packages in February, 2018. Physical progress of about 18% has been achieved in 6-lanework of Bangalore-Nidagatta section. The appointed date for work of 6-lane of Nidagatta-Mysore section has not been declared. As on date about 85% land acquisition has been completed with target for completion in December, 2019.
(d)&(e) The total cost of the project is approximately Rs. 7,400 crore out of which an amount of about Rs. 2,270 has already been expended. The scheduled completion time for 6-laning of Bangalore-Nidagatta-Mysore road stretch is 30 months from the appointed date.
