(a) whether the Government has proposed to implement e-Bharat project under e-Governance in
the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the funding mechanism involved in this regard; and
(c) the steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a), (b) and (c): The Government is in a dialogue with the World Bank to explore the
possibility of World Bank funding for e-Governance initiatives through a proposed e-Bharat
Project. No final decision has been taken in this regard.
