(a) the details of the action taken regarding the raising of anti-national slogans in various Universities/Institutes by certain persons;
(b) whether the Government proposes to formulate any law to check the same; and
(c) the details of the various steps taken in the Universities/institutes to check the recurrence of such incidents in future?

(a) to (c): Central Universities/ Institutes are autonomous bodies created under the act of Parliament, governed by their own Acts, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations made thereunder and are competent to take action in academic and administrative matters. Being autonomous, they are competent to deal with such issues as per their own mechanism with the help of local administration.
