Question : PPP Model

(a) the details of projects/programmes running under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP)model in the country along with projects under consideration of the Government, project and State/ UT-wise;

(b) whether the Government is aware that PPP model has not yielded desired result to attract investment in infrastructure sector, if so, the details thereof and reasons therefor along with the corrective measures taken by the Government in this regard;

(c) the details of the existing mechanism/ framework which regulate/monitors projects/programmes being implemented under the PPP model for socio-economic development of the country;

(d) whether the Government has conducted any review to assess the impact of these projects/programmes being run under PPP, if so, the details and outcome thereof;

(e) whether due to PPP model a trend is developing in the Government bureaucracy to provide maximum benefit to the Private Partners instead of according priority to the work, if so, the reaction of the Government thereto; and

(f) the remedial measures taken/being taken by the Government for effective implementation of PPP projects in the country?
