Based on the reports of Inter-Ministerial Central Teams (IMCTs) that visited
drought affected States to assess the damage/losses and recommendations of
Inter-Ministerial Group (IMG), Central Government had approved financial assistance
from National Calamity Contingency Fund (NCCF) to 15 States during 2009-10.
