Question : SGRY IN ORISSA

(a) whether the State Government of Orissa has complied with all the required guidelines to get pending assistance under SGRY from the Union Government; and

(b) if so, the specific reasons for which the 1st instalment of Central assistance under `Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana` (SGRY) for 2004-2005 has not been released in favour of seven districts of Orissa State such as Angul, Bhadrak, Boudh, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Nuapada ?

(a) & (b) Some documents were required from the districts before first instalment of resources under Sampoorna Gramin Rozgar Yojana could be released to them for the current year. The same have been received now and first instalment from the Centre has been released to all the seven districts.
