(a) whether the Government has commenced construction of new National Highways (NHs) in Kerala;
(b) if so, the details along with their present status thereof;
(c) whether the Government has given priority status to construction of new National Highways in Kerala, considering its developmental requirements concerning transportation infrastructure; and
(d) if so, the allocation of funds for the ongoing and new projects during the last three years in Kerala, district-wise?

(a) to (d) Development and maintenance of National Highways is a continuous process and the same are carried out based on traffic requirement, availability of funds and inter se priority of works. Allocation of funds for development of National Highways is made State-wise and not district-wise. Funds allocated for development of National Highways in Kerala during the last three years is enclosed at Annexure-I.
