(a) whether State Sank of Indore has received orders from National Commission for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, Lok Nayak Shawan, New Delhi for the re-instatement of employees of clerical staff during December, 2001 to date;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken on the recommendation of the `Commission`; and
(c) if commission`s recommendations have not been implemented by the bank, the reasons therefor?
THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI GINGEE N. RAMACHANDRAN) :
(a) to (c) State Bank of Indore has reported that there was one such case during 2001 to date pertaining
to a dismissed employee, where the National Commission for SCs/STs. advised that the case `may be reviewed
and may be reinstated`. As advised by the Commission the bank reviewed the case and found that there was no
case for reinstatement as the penalty was imposed by the bank after ifollowing the due procedure.
