Question : RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLES IN DELHI POLICE

(a) whether a large scale bungling in recruitment of constables in Delhi Police has taken place recently;

(b) if so, the facts in this regard;

(c) whether the Government propose to cancel the panel prepared and hold fresh examination, as per procedure; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a)&(b): No, Sir. However, some discrepancies in the list prepared by the Recruitment Board were noticed which were subsequently rectified and a revised list of selected candidates was published.

(c): No, Sir.

(d): Does not arise.
