(a) & (b): The relevant provisions of New Coal Distribution Policy, 2007 have been amended to ensure smooth supply of coal to units in small and medium sector. The requirement of the units that receive coal through State Nominated Agency (SNA) has been raised from 4,200 tonnes per annum to 10,000 tonnes per annum and the scope of coverage through SNAs has been revised from ''small and medium sector'' to ''small, medium and others''.
(c): Not applicable in view of the above reply to (a) & (b).
