(a) whether the Government has received reports regarding alleged threat
to important dams including Bhakra Dam from Pakistan terrorists;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the action being taken by the Government for foolproof security of the Dams from such elements?

(a) to (b): Yes, Madam. The Government has received reports of threat inputs indicating plans of terrorists
to target important dams, including Bhakra-Dam.
(c): The threat inputs have been shared with the State Governments concerned and Dam Management authorities.
Meetings have also been held with State Police forces concerned, Dam Management authorities and Central
Security Agencies to coordinate security measures and strengthen security at dams, to counter these threats.
