(a) whether the Railways propose to introduce Bullet Train service between Ahmedabad
and Mumbai keeping in view of heavy rush of passengers;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which Bullet Train service is proposed to be introduced on this route?

(a) to (c): No decision has been taken to introduce bullet train between Ahmedabad and
Mumbai. However, it has been decided to carry out pre-feasibility studies for one corridor
each in the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern regions of the country for construction
of high speed passenger corridors.
