(a) whether the Government has released funds to the State of Maharashtra under Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) scheme during the last two years;
(b) if so, the details of the funds allocated and released to the State Government during the said period; and
(c) the manner in which the State Government of Maharashtra has utilised the funds released under the said scheme?

(a)&(b) Yes sir. The Adhoc Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) has released Rs.424.00 crore (Rs.Four hundred twenty four crore) to State CAMPA, Maharashtra during the last two Years (2017-18 and 2018-19).
(c)Funds are utilised for the purpose of compensatory afforestation and allied activities including protection, conservation and management of forest as per the approved annual plan of operation prepared as per the CAMPA guidelines 2009 and duly approved by the Steering Committee of State CAMPA chaired by the Chief Secretary of the State.
