SONARAM CHOUDHARY, SHRI RAJU SHETTI, SHRI RAMDAS C. TADAS, SHRI C.R. CHAUDHARY, SHRI GANESH SINGH AND SHRI ANOOP MISHRA TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 27.11.2014 REGARDING ROAD OVER BRIDGES AND UNDER BRIDGES.
(a) & (d): There is no level crossing under construction in any of the State. The State-wise details of Road Over Bridges (ROB) and Road Under Bridges (RUB) sanctioned are as under:

(b): ROB in lieu of LCs 76 Spl. near IERT, Allahabad Based on the request of public representatives for provision of ROB in lieu of LC 76 near IERT, Allahabad, joint site feasibility for construction of ROB was carried out in September 2007 by officials of Railway, Nagar Nigam Allahabad & Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation. During joint site inspection, it was found that ROB is not feasible at this location due to presence of Government Office and other public utilities like telephone lines, electric line and water supply pipelines. ROB in lieu of LCs 28 Spl. Phulpur Station West Yard Based on the request of public representatives, Railway has approached State Govt. to submit the proposal for the construction of ROB at this location along with the required consents for sharing of cost and closure of LCs.
(c): Proposals for construction of ROB/RUB in lieu of LCs are normally received by zonal railways from State Government and other Statutory Authorities. After completing various formalities with State Government/Statutory Authorities, regarding the consent for sharing of cost and closure of LCs, proposals received for construction of ROBs/RUBs in lieu of LCs are further processed for their inclusion in Railway Works Programme. This is a continuous process.
(e): Due to limited availability of resources (approx. Rs.1100 crore per annum) and huge throwforward of already sanctioned works
(Rs.25000 crores), the works are progressing to the extent possible as per time schedule and funds are allocated to only those projects where State Government has already started the work or likely to start the work of approaches.Download PDF Files
