(a) whether the Government is providing subsidy for encouraging production of vegetables using bamboo staking technique;
(b) if so, the State-wise amount of subsidy released across the country including Gujarat during the last three years; and
(c) the steps being taken/to be taken by the Government for propagating the said technique?

(a) to (c): No Sir. However, the assistance is provided for promotion of vegetable cultivation in both open and protected condition under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), a centrally sponsored scheme being implemented for the holistic development of the horticulture sector throughout the country. Farmers are well aware of the requirement of staking in vegetable crops and are adopting it wherever required.
