Question : Bharatmala Pariyojana

(a) the current status of Bharatmala Pariyojana at Kozhikode connecting Beypore port with National Highway (NH)-66 and NH-766;

(b) whether the Government proposes to take steps for connecting Beypore port at Kozhikode with inter-State NHs expeditiously and if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government has conducted any review meetings so far for this project at Kozhikode and if so, the details thereof; and


(d) if not, whether the Government proposes to organise such meetings in near future?

(a) & (b) As on March 2021, there are two road projects that focus on connectivity to Beypore Port under Bharatmala and Sagarmala Scheme in the State of Kerala connecting junction of NH-66 and NH-766 at Malaparamab, Kozhikode. The details of both projects alongwith their status are provided below:
