(a) the details of the issues raised by the Group of Secretaries working on Agriculture out of the 10 groups formed by the Government for agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, poultry, fertilizers, irrigation and rural development;
(b) whether the Government proposes to rework and come up with effective solutions to address the problems plaguing the agriculture sector; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c): The Group of Secretaries- Agriculture has examined the challenges before the sector and suggested strategies on issues relating to agriculture and allied sectors viz. animal husbandry/fisheries/agricultural research and also related issues concerning water, fertilisers, consumer affairs, food processing, food and public distribution, panchayati raj, rural development and land resources and submitted its report to the Cabinet Secretariat.
